Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Controls Software Engineer focused on cybersecurity and CRA compliance for our Stovring site. You will work at the intersection of industrial automation, software, and regulatory requirements to implement CRA guidelines across equipment.

Responsibilities include developing PLC/HMI solutions, conducting risk analyses, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure regulatory alignment and robust security postures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms and Studio 5000.
• Knowledge of EtherNet/IP and OPC-UA.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the investigation and interpretation of CRA requirements for JBT Marel equipment.
• Develop and maintain PLC and HMI software for Allen-Bradley-based equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, quality, and regulatory teams.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into practical engineering specifications.
• Engage with vendors to evaluate cybersecurity capabilities and documentation.
