Job summary

Greenpeace Nordic is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build, maintain and optimize data pipelines and the Civis/Tableau analytics stack. You will ensure the data warehouse is healthy and data requests are delivered accurately to support fundraising and campaigns.

You will design and automate data transformations using SQL and Python, collaborate with the CAI team, and translate business needs into scalable data solutions that empower decision making across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Marketing, Business or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years work with large databases.
• At least 2 years’ experience with marketing, fundraising or financial data.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with data modeling and pipeline development.
• Experience with Civis and Tableau is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical partner to understand operational needs and deliver data solutions.
• Manage end-to-end data request pipeline with timely delivery.
• Write and optimize complex SQL transformations for cleaning, aggregation, and logic.
• Develop data flows to move data securely across departments.
• Investigate and fix data ingestion failures and performance issues.
• Advance the data warehouse to meet operational and analytical needs.
• Administer Civis and Tableau for analytics consumption.
• Create and run complex queries and ad-hoc data extractions.
