Job summary

Svendborg Brakes seeks an engineer to design intelligent hydraulic braking systems for demanding applications, including underwater turbines and submarines. You will join the Application & Control Department on customer-specific projects, combining mechanical design, hydraulics, and electrical control systems.

The role includes project leadership, testing in-house, and close cross-department collaboration with English as the working language.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• At least three years of professional experience.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Technical adjustments of core product and components for braking systems.
• Design and construction of braking systems and components, including hydraulic systems.
• Leading and ensuring testing of designs in the test center and production facilities.
• Preparing technical documentation, including drawings and BOMs.
• Participation in development projects, including new material types and customer-specific projects.
