Job summary

Terma A/S seeks a Systems Engineer to define technical solutions across Maritime & Land Projects, owning system areas and aligning with overall architecture. You will drive activities through the full lifecycle from concept to delivery, balancing details with big-picture thinking.

The role requires strong English, with Danish as an advantage. Beneficial experience includes Linux, MIL-STDs, MBSE/INCOSE, sensor integration and safety-critical domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline such as Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace, Electronics or CS.
• Solid background in systems engineering and ability to handle complex products.
• Experience in maritime, aerospace, defense, or safety-critical industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into clear, robust technical solutions and identify risks early.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure integrated system designs.
• Act as technical owner for one or more system areas ensuring consistency across software, hardware and requirements.
• Define or support system architecture, requirements engineering, trade studies and technical decisions.
• Contribute to proposals, engineering estimates and technical planning.
• Help improve engineering processes and cross-organizational collaboration.
