Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group in Assens, Denmark is seeking an IT Supporter / IT Operations professional to join our IT Operations Team. You will provide technical support to users worldwide and help ensure our systems run smoothly.

The role requires a service-minded, proactive professional with strong problem solving, knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Endpoint Manager, LAN basics, Windows/macOS/iOS, and some travel to Assens.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in IT, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
Solid experience with Active Directory, Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, etc.), hardware support (laptops, peripherals), and Endpoint Manager (Intune).
Good understanding of LAN/network environments and basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS; knowledge of mobile devices (Apple/Android).
Experience with SAP-related hardware (e.g., scanners) is a plus. Familiarity with office systems, telephony, and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team; ability to share knowledge effectively with both team members and end users.
Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally to Assens.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to users by researching and resolving issues using Service Hub (TOPdesk). Troubleshoot and manage endpoints using Endpoint Manager, including support related to Active Directory, Azure, Exchange Online (O365), and VPN (Zscaler). Identify problems, research solutions, and guide users and colleagues through corrective actions.
Maintain and improve knowledge base documentation. Contribute to training programs by identifying recurring issues and improving instructional content. Support accessibility by recommending appropriate tools or techniques for users with specific needs.
Ensure compliance with service agreements and IT policies. Identify system performance issues and recommend improvements. Continuously update technical knowledge through training and professional networking. Support IT operations and contribute to broader organizational objectives as required.
