Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) is seeking an IT Supporter / IT Operations professional to join the IT Operations Team in Assens, Denmark. You will provide technical support to users worldwide, resolve issues, and contribute to globalization and standardization efforts within IT Operations.

You will troubleshoot, document, and improve support processes, reporting to the IT Operations lead. The role is based in Assens with a mix of on-site and hybrid work and requires a proactive, service-minded

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams), hardware support, and Endpoint Manager (Intune).
• Good understanding of LAN/network environments and basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, and iOS; knowledge of mobile devices (Apple/Android).
• Experience with SAP-related hardware is a plus; familiarity with office systems, telephony, and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset; proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team; share knowledge effectively.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Assens.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users by researching and resolving issues using Service Hub (TOPdesk) and troubleshooting endpoints via Endpoint Manager.
• Maintain and improve knowledge base documentation and contribute to training programs.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and service agreements; identify performance issues and propose improvements; support IT operations.
