Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Denmark seeks an Adv. Utilities Professional - HVAC Supporter to join the Global Manufacturing & Supply team, driving HVAC projects and validating systems to ensure compliant, reliable operation of critical utility networks in our aseptic facility.

This role requires a Mechanical/Building Services background, strong Danish and English communication, and a proactive mindset to support bi-annual factory stops and ongoing improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation, maintenance, and optimization.
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English in an international environment.
• Proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach with ownership and process improvements.
• Experience from pharmaceutical industry or highly regulated production environment; GMP, validation, LEAN, risk assessments, change control, technical documentation, cleanrooms and critical utility systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing HVAC projects with focus on system modifications, commissioning, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Preparing validation documentation to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and contractors across the organization.
• Collaborating with experienced colleagues, skilled workers and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
• Supervising the implementation phase during bi-annual factory production stops (July/August and December/January), with increased flexibility.
• Contributing to continuous improvements and equipment optimizations for long-term performance of critical utility systems.
