Novo Nordisk in Bagsværd, Denmark, is seeking an Adv. Utilities Professional - HVAC Supporter to drive HVAC projects ensuring aseptic production runs at the highest standard.

You will join the Facility/Utility Projects team and help shape the future setup of our facility, working with internal and external stakeholders. You bring a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, knowledge of HVAC systems, and strong Danish and English communication.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, operation, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Fluent in Danish and English; work in an international environment.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry or highly regulated production; GMP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute HVAC projects focusing on system modifications, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Prepare validation documentation for compliance and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and contractors.
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to deliver reliable solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation phase during bi-annual factory stops (July/August and December/January); flexible during these periods.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements and equipment optimizations for critical utility systems.

Adv. Utilities Professional - HVAC Supporter

Your new role

In this role, you will join the Facility/Utility Projects team, where you will play a key part in driving HVAC projects that keep our aseptic production running at the highest standard. With significant changes and equipment optimizations on the horizon, this is a unique opportunity to help shape the future set up of our facility.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:
  • Planning and executing HVAC projects with a focus on system modifications, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization

You will be part of Aseptic Manufacturing, Site Bagsværd (DPM BA), an aseptic filling factory with approximately 900 employees producing marketed insulin, GLP-1, and weight-reducing products for the benefit of patients worldwide. The Facility/Utility Projects team is responsible for maintaining and ensuring project implementation within WFI, clean steam, compressed air, and ventilation (HVAC), as well as improvements and refurbishments of the production facility.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for someone with strong technical understanding, great communication and collaboration skills, and the motivation to thrive in a dynamic environment.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation, maintenance, and optimization
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, as we work in an international environment
  • A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach – you take ownership of your tasks and are motivated by improving processes and ensuring stable, reliable operation of critical systems
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated production environment is considered an advantage, as is knowledge of GMP, validation, LEAN principles, risk assessments, change control, technical documentation, cleanroom environments, critical utility systems, and project execution or technical support

What we offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from570,200 DKK - 838,100 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
