Job summary

NRL is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environment functions on complex engineering projects in Fredericia, Denmark. The role offers on-site working and a strong focus on safety leadership, compliance, and reporting to senior management.

You will drive safety culture, develop plans, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to legislation while coordinating with project teams and stakeholders. Relocation packages are included for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in occupational health and safety.
• Professional IOSH membership or equivalent.
• Experience leading safety teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the health and safety function on assigned projects.
• Advise project managers, engineers and supervisors on safety requirements.
• Embed safety in planning, delivery and close-out stages of projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Develop and review project safety plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions.
