Job summary

SORTH & CO is recruiting for McBride to appoint a QHSE Manager for the Holstebro site in Denmark. You will develop, implement and maintain Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems, oversee 4 staff, perform risk assessments, lead audits, ensure legal compliance and coordinate with regulators and group functions.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in QHSE, strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, quality and environmental standards, and fluent Danish and English.

Qualifications

• Education in QHSE or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years in QHSE and managerial exposure.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety laws and risk management.
• Experience dealing with regulators and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department of 4 employees and supervise QHSE activities.
• Plan risk assessments, safety walks, incident investigations, and training.
• Implement safety standards set by the Group.
• Maintain and improve QHSE management systems and documentation.
• Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulator actions.
• Handle non-conformities, CAPAs, and root-cause analyses.
• Report QHSE performance, KPIs, and risks to site management and group.
• Coordinate with group functions within QHSE and regulators.
