Job summary

JYSK seeks an influential Head of Range and Design to shape our overall design direction and collection architecture across categories from sleep to textiles. You will ensure Scandinavian DNA is reflected, balancing creativity with commercial priorities for a recognisable customer experience.

You will lead and develop a three-person design team, partner with suppliers and marketing, and travel 30–40 days annually to stay ahead of trends and inspire new products across countries.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in design, product development, range management or category management within an international retail, brand or lifestyle business.
• Ability to define a clear design direction and translate it into practical briefs and priorities.
• Strong understanding of Scandinavian design, including colours, materials, functionality and visual consistency.
• Data-driven decision-making using customer insights, sales data and profitability.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align across functions.
• Experience in leading and developing colleagues, setting clear priorities and fostering collaboration.
• Fluency in English and confidence presenting concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop collection architecture and design briefs with Category Management and suppliers.
• Use customer insights, sales data and profitability to guide design decisions and strengthen range performance.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders, aligning ideas with commercial priorities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, E-Commerce, Visual Merchandising and Sales & Expansion on campaigns and customer experience.
