Job summary

Palsgaard A/S is seeking an experienced Head of Global IT & Digitalization to shape the technology landscape and digital agenda across an international organization. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will lead a ~25-strong IT team, set strategic priorities and collaborate with executives worldwide.

You will drive global IT strategy, digitalization, AI, automation and data initiatives, ensuring secure operations and strong business partnership across regions.

Qualifications

• Senior IT leader with global or multi-country experience.
• Strong business orientation with ability to translate strategy into value.
• Experience from manufacturing or operations-focused environments is a plus.

Do you want to take the overall responsibility for Palsgaard’s global IT organisation and digital agenda? Reporting to the Group CFO, you will play a key role in shaping the future technology landscape, digital capabilities and operating model across an international organisation with operations around the world.

Head of Global IT & Digitalization with Global Responsibility and Significant Influence

A strong IT organisation, a mature cybersecurity platform and an ongoing global Microsoft Dynamics 365 rollout provide a solid platform for the future. Your mission will therefore not be to fix problems, but to create direction, strengthen global collaboration and turn technology into tangible business value.

As Head of Global IT & Digitalization, you will lead an international IT organisation of approximately 25 colleagues and work closely with Executive Management, regional stakeholders and business leaders across our organisation. You will be responsible for shaping the strategy, setting priorities and ensuring that technology continues to support Palsgaard’s ambitious growth plans.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Defining and executing Palsgaard’s global IT and digitalization strategy
• Translating strategic ambitions into clear roadmaps across digitalization, AI, automation and data
• Leading and developing the global IT organisation
• Driving digital transformation and strengthening IT’s role as a strategic business partner
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across functions, regions and subsidiaries
• Driving standardisation of systems, processes and data across the organisation
• Ensuring secure, stable and efficient global IT operations

Business-Oriented IT Leader with International Experience

You are an experienced IT leader with a strong business orientation and a passion for creating value through technology. You have worked in an international environment and understand the complexity of supporting a global organisation across countries, cultures and business functions.

You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and thrive in organisations characterised by short decision-making paths, high responsibility and a pragmatic approach to execution. Experience from manufacturing or other operationally complex environments will be advantageous.

As a leader, you are visible, approachable and able to create followership across all levels of the organisation. You build trust quickly, foster collaboration and know how to create commitment around change and transformation initiatives.
