Job summary

Keyrock invites a Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead with strong experience in systematic options trading to lead our Options Engineering team. You will drive continuous improvement across trading infrastructure, automated quoting, execution, risk controls, pricing workflows, and production reliability.

We are primarily looking for candidates based in European or US East Coast time zones, with a remote-first culture and global hubs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading, options market-making or low-latency trading.
• Strong hands-on with Rust, C++, or C and willingness to deepen Rust.
• Deep understanding of automated quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls.
• Experience with low-latency trading systems and options/derivatives.
• Production SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and testing/validation practices.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and production reliability.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Node.js services is a plus; crypto exchange/connectivity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of ~7 engineers.
• Own and evolve a Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Provide technical direction across trading infrastructure, design, performance, reliability.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, product, risk and infra stakeholders.
• Balance technical leadership with delivery ownership and operational discipline.
