Job summary

Danske Commodities is seeking a Head of Controlling & Operations for Germany and Italy. You will lead a 12‑person team, shaping controlling and operations, ensuring scalable processes and data‑driven improvements in a competitive energy market.

You will collaborate with the Customer Business Management team to develop the function, drive cross‑functional projects, and advance data accuracy and efficiency across onboarding assets and customer requests.

Qualifications

• educational background in finance, economics, IT or a related field, not a tipping point
• familiar with data and analytical tools such as SQL and/or Power BI
• proven track record as a leader
• proficient in English – both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• managing and developing a team of 12 employees
• ensuring controlling and operations tasks are carried out in a scalable way
• optimising and documenting processes
• supervising implementation of new products
• participating in and leading cross-functional projects
