As our new Head of Controlling & Operations, Germany and Italy you will manage a team of 12 employees, responsible for controlling and supporting our customer business in Germany and Italy. Your main role will be to support and develop the team, set a clear direction and drive continuous improvement – all of which are crucial to ensuring a scalable and efficient controlling and operations setup in a competitive energy market.

Together with the Customer Business Management team, you will play a vital role in developing the function and continuously improving our collaboration and leadership skills.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • managing and developing a team of curious and skilled employees

  • ensuring controlling and operations tasks are carried out in an appropriate and scalable way

  • optimising and documenting processes

  • supervising successful implementation of new products

  • participating in and leading cross-functional projects

Meet your team

You will join our team Controlling & Operations, Germany and Italy, where we work with onboarding of assets, asset master data and customer requests, ensuring data consistency as well as stable and efficient business controlling. The team consists of quality-minded and committed specialists in business controlling and operations, and we make the most out of our diverse and international backgrounds. Our culture is inclusive and supportive, and we always strive to become better as a team.

But enough about us... over to you!

As a leader, we imagine that you are empathetic, supportive and seek understanding of the needs and motivations of your team. We also expect you to be proactive, keen on taking responsibility, and have an eye for optimising processes and managing an operational setup. You will work with various cases that require thorough analyses to contribute to decision-making, so you should also be interested in having a data-driven and structured approach to problem-solving.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • have an educational background in finance, economics, IT or a related field – but this is not a tipping point to us

  • are familiar with data and analytical tools such as SQL and/or Power BI
