Job summary

DEIF A/S is seeking a Department Manager for User Interface & Cloud Software in Skive. You will lead a 14-person software engineering team responsible for the cloud platform and digital interfaces, shaping the digital experience of our energy solutions.

You’ll ensure the department has the right competencies, resources, and direction to achieve DEIF's ambitions in Cloud Software and UI Development, while engaging engineers, architects, and stakeholders in technical discussions and decisions.

Qualifications

Hold a relevant degree within software engineering, computer science, electronics, or a related field.
Have a good understanding of software development and preferably cloud or web technologies.
Are skilled at building relationships and creating alignment across stakeholders.
Enjoy developing people and building high-performing teams.
Communicate fluently in English, preferably also Danish.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of software engineers.
Drive execution of strategic initiatives within cloud and UI software.
Ensure the right competencies and resources are in place to achieve department objectives.
Foster strong collaboration with other software departments, Project Managers and stakeholders.
Contribute to architecture and technology direction with technical specialists.
Provide clear direction when priorities change or uncertainty arises.
Build a high-performing culture based on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
