Job summary

DEIF A/S invites a skilled Technical Engineer to join the Global 2nd line Service Team in Skive. You will act as the primary technical expert, guiding customers, partners, and internal teams in complex cases, driving service improvements, and ensuring close collaboration between Service, Sales and R&D.

We value strong teamwork, mentoring, and knowledge sharing, with a versatile role that spans pre- and after-sales activities and integration of our controllers into hybrid energy systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Automation Technology or similar.
• Experience as a Service Engineer or Application Engineer or in a related role.
• Familiarity with Power Management and protection devices is a plus.
• Good English skills in speaking and writing.
• Interest in using various digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex customer cases.
• Build structures (tools and ways of working) and foster global cooperation between global teams.
• Manage big troubleshooting issues and drive product quality issues through R&D and suppliers.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D to improve product quality.
• Manage the development of new products from a service perspective and anchor the knowledge in all our subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with Sales and engage in both pre- and after-sales activities.
