Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Denmark invites applications for a Group Financial Controller - IFRS & Group Reporting to lead consolidated reporting, ensure IFRS compliance, and drive finance transformation.

Based in Hedehusene, you will work with stakeholders across the organisation, contribute to system upgrades and ensure high-quality external reporting while supporting continuous improvement in our global finance function.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Group Reporting, Controlling, or Audit.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and practical application in an international environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of financial systems and data tools.
• Clear and confident English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the upgraded ERP platform and consolidation system.
• Prepare Group annual report, quarterly investor announcements, and other external reports.
• Ensure quality and compliance of the Group's external financial reporting.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centre in Poland.
• Ensure quality in centralised statutory reporting for European subsidiaries.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes using data and technology.
• Contribute to development of reporting frameworks and manuals.
• Be the point of contact for IFRS matters across the Group.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and reporting initiatives.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Group Reporting manager in Denmark, you will be preparing and safeguarding the quality of our consolidated external reports while ensuring compliance with IFRS and reporting policies. You will also take part in updating and maintaining our reporting and compliance processes and manuals.

Based in Hedehusene, Denmark, your responsibilities will include:

• Play a key role in the implementation of the Group's upgraded ERP platform and consolidation system, helping shape future reporting processes and controls
• Participate in the preparation of the Group's Annual Report, the quarterly investor announcements and other financial reporting sent to Management and Audit Committee
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of the Group's external financial reporting
• Ensure efficient collaboration with our Shared service centre in Poland
• Be responsible for ensuring quality and compliance in the centralised process for preparing and filing statutory reports for the majority of European subsidiaries
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within reporting processes, leveraging data and modern technology solutions.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of reporting frameworks and manual.
• Point of contact for accounting and IFRS matters, providing guidance and support to finance organisations across the Group
• Support ad hoc finance projects and reporting initiatives across the Group

What you bring:

We expect that you:

• Hold a Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Have 5-7 years of relevant experience within Group Reporting, Controlling, Financial Reporting, or Audit
• Have solid experience with consolidated financial reporting and a strong understanding of IFRS, including the practical application of accounting standards in an international environment
• Bring strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Have a good understanding of financial systems and data tools
• Communicate clearly and confidently in English (our corporate language)
