Job summary

IMC is building a new Energy Trading business in Aarhus, Denmark, and seeks strong Software Engineers to join the team and help grow this venture. Qualifications

• Strong academic background, preferably in computer science or a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Strong programming skills in C++ or comparable (eg. Rust).
• Experience with Python or Java is a plus.
• Experience in European energy trading industry is a plus.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build, as part of a team, a full technology stack that supports power and gas trading, including exchange connectivity, trading systems, trading strategies, data analysis, and pricing.
• Maintain and improve the tech stack in collaboration with trading.
• Train new joiners.
