Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund seeks a Technology Projects Director to lead a global team delivering strategic Packing Technology projects. You will ensure qualified plans, disciplined execution, and strong stakeholder collaboration across Platform Management, Engineering, Innovation and production sites.

The role emphasizes automation, cost savings and improved production performance, with a hybrid work model and international travel.

Qualifications

Led people and technology project teams for 8-10 years, coaching and development.
Organized and delivered technology, automation or industrial projects with quality and timing.
Managed project plans, milestones, resources, risks, deviations and actions.
Identified opportunities for cost savings through technology improvement and automation.
Led automation, digitalization or tech development initiatives delivering savings.
Experience in engineering, manufacturing or industrial tech environments.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Willingness to travel internationally – 8-10 weeks yearly.

Responsibilities

Lead the global Technology Projects team and deliver strategic Packing Technology projects.
Establish clear project expectations, objectives, deliverables and success criteria with stakeholders.
Review and approve project plans, milestones and resources at decision points.
Maintain oversight of execution, risks, deviations and corrective actions across all phases.
Encourage automation and technology solutions to reduce costs and increase throughput.
Build partnerships with strategic suppliers and ensure delivery against commitments.
