Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund is seeking a Technology Projects Director who will lead a global team delivering strategic Packing Technology projects. You will drive automation, digitalization, and disciplined execution across all project phases to meet quality and cost objectives.

You will collaborate with Platform Management, Engineering, Innovation, and production sites worldwide, building capability, accountability, and strong supplier partnerships while shaping the future of Packing Technology

Qualifications

Led technology and automation projects for 8–10 years in packaging.
Defined objectives, milestones and success criteria with accountability.
Managed plans, resources, risks and corrective actions across lifecycles.
Identified cost-saving opportunities through technology improvements.
Experience in engineering, manufacturing or industrial tech environments.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Willingness to travel internationally – 8–10 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the global Technology Projects team of 14.
Deliver strategic Packing Technology projects on quality, timing and outcomes.
Establish project expectations, objectives, deliverables and success criteria with stakeholders.
Ensure plans, milestones, resources and commitments are approved at decision points.
Maintain oversight of execution, risks, deviations and corrective actions.
Encourage automation and technology solutions to deliver savings.
Build partnerships with strategic suppliers for quality delivery.
Share governance and capabilities across Platform Technology.
