Job summary

Novo Nordisk seeks a world-class security executive to lead Global Security, governance and risk management across a global pharmaceutical organisation. You will translate corporate priorities into security strategy, invest in risk-based decisions and oversee an integrated approach to security, resilience and intelligence.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience from a complex multinational organisation.
• Strong expertise in enterprise security risk, resilience and crisis management.
• Proven ability to translate threats into clear business decisions and investments.
• Experience advising executive management and boards on material security risks.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders and external authorities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Novo’s long-term Global Security strategy and roadmap.
• Own the enterprise security risk framework, governance, controls, reporting and escalation.
• Oversee resilience maturity, crisis management and business continuity frameworks.
• Advise Executive Management and the Board on security, resilience and geopolitical risks.
• Own Product Security risk across the value chain, including tampering and supply disruption.
• Lead Security Intelligence, translating external developments into business implications.
• Embed security standards and accountability across Novo’s global organisation.
• Build partnerships with senior business leaders and external authorities.
• Lead and develop a globally distributed specialist function.
• Ensure stewardship of budgets, suppliers and resources with data-driven security solutions.
• Contribute to GLIPS LT strategy and global objectives.
