Job summary

Danfoss seeks a Senior Director to lead the global RD&E organization within Industrial Refrigeration (IRF), accounting for 5 direct reports and a team of 50+. You will own technology direction, product development, and engineering excellence across a broad portfolio.

The role is based in Denmark, at our Kolding or Nordborg offices, and emphasizes collaboration, prioritization, and delivering profitable growth through technological leadership and customer value.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience leading global RD&E organizations in industrial/project-based settings.
• Strong track record in shaping technology strategies and improving engineering performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global RD&E organization (+55 FTEs) and define technology direction to support growth and competitiveness.
• Drive innovation and development of next-generation solutions for decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Product, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales.
• Ensure prioritization and resource allocation with clear interfaces and collaboration to maximize ROI on innovation.
