Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking a Global Portfolio Strategy Director to lead a high-performing team shaping Novo Nordisk’s portfolio strategy and enterprise decisions. You will drive governance, analytics and cross-functional alignment to maximise value across the portfolio.

In this visible role, you will partner with Research, Development, Commercial and other global functions, translating complex portfolio challenges into actionable recommendations for senior leadership, reporting to the AVP

Qualifications

Relevant university degree plus experience in strategy development, consulting, or project leadership.
Minimum 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Diabetes, Obesity, Cardiovascular Disease, or related areas.
At least 5 years in a commercial organisation, with collaboration with R&D.
Proven leadership through direct people management or leading large cross-functional groups.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication, incl. presenting to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team responsible for portfolio strategy and management.
Establish portfolio management frameworks, governance processes.
Drive cross-functional assessments of opportunities, risks, and dilemmas.
Partner with Research, Development, Commercial and other functions to align decisions.
Translate complex portfolio challenges into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
