Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Global Commercial Associate Director to shape the future of obesity care. You will provide global strategic leadership for obesity projects, drive commercial product development for Zenagamtide and other assets, and embed commercial requirements across product development.

The role requires extensive cross-functional leadership within a global matrix and residency in Denmark, with fluency in English and a strong track record in commercial strategy within pharma.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree (or above) in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience across commercial strategy, asset strategy, product development, marketing and/or portfolio management within pharma.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn insights into clear product, evidence and portfolio recommendations.
• Proven ability to build trust, create alignment and influence senior stakeholders across a complex global matrix organisation.
• Experience driving complex cross-functional projects or workstreams; formal project management training is an advantage.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Residency in Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Drive key commercial strategy workstreams, including Target Product Profile input, claims strategy and go-to-market considerations
• Embed commercial, customer and access requirements into the Product Development Plan and evidence generation priorities
• Develop commercial assessments, business cases and governance recommendations that inform prioritisation and investment decisions
• Lead Commercial Project Teams and align Access, Pricing, Insights, Competitive Intelligence, Medical, Development and other functions around one clear commercial perspective
• Prepare concise commercial narratives and materials for senior leadership decision-making
• Contribute to asset strategy, portfolio direction and the Obesity Therapy Area Strategy through actionable commercial recommendations
