Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Denmark is seeking a Manufacturing Data Architect to shape how manufacturing data is defined, governed, and reused across Global Manufacturing & Supply. You will bridge shop floor data with enterprise analytics and AI capabilities, defining standards and reusable patterns.

Responsibilities include evolving the GMS Data Target Architecture, creating data contracts and schemas standards, and guiding cross‑functional teams to ensure interoperable data across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, data engineering, automation, IT, or related field.
• 5-7 years in data architecture or data engineering in manufacturing/OT environments.
• Strong knowledge of MES, OT, lab systems, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience defining data structures, governance, and data contracts across systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the GMS Data Target Architecture with guardrails and standards.
• Develop end-to-end view of data flows from shop floor to analytics/AI.
• Create reusable data architecture patterns and data products standards.
• Drive governance to reduce duplication and improve data reuse across manufacturing landscapes.
• Provide architecture reviews and coaching to ensure designs align with target architectures.
