Job summary

Vestas seeks a Senior Specialist, Performance & Capability, to define the Lean strategy for our Nacelles Manufacturing network and drive global excellence. You will partner with leaders across nine factories to deliver sustainable improvements, standardization, and capability development, shaping how production meets future demand.

This highly visible role requires a strategic mindset, strong change leadership, and a proven track record in Lean and Operational Excellence within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing Excellence experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with proven improvements.
• Experience developing Lean/Operational Excellence strategies in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead complex improvement initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, optimization, and performance methods.
• Experience in global/matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and set the Lean strategy for Nacelles Manufacturing and align with business goals.
• Lead manufacturing excellence initiatives across the global factory network.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive sustainable solutions.
• Act as lean expert and drive standardization across sites.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams.
• Lead change management to build Lean thinking and capability development.
