Job summary

Danish Refugee Council is seeking an Executive Director for People & Organisation to shape the organisation's people, culture and governance on a global scale. This leadership role will empower leaders, drive strategy into meaningful change and ensure the organisation has the right people, capabilities, structures and safeguards to deliver humanitarian responses wherever needed most.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in global organisations.
• Proven ability to shape people strategy and lead transformation.
• Experience with organisational development, operating models, governance, compliance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead Global HR, HR Denmark, HR Operations & Analytics, Surge Capacity, Safety, Code of Conduct, Legal and leadership culture.
• Build trusted relationships across a global organisation and with partners from diverse contexts.
• Set direction for global P&O strategy and enable operations through people insights and governance.
• Oversee safeguarding, ethical conduct, legal compliance and duty of care.
