Job summary

Maersk Training’s central finance function in Denmark is seeking a Finance Controller based in Svendborg. You will be a key player in the global finance team, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with regional Finance Managers, HQ Finance Business Partnering, and the Chennai SSC.

The role blends group-wide financial controlling, ad-hoc analysis, and continuous improvement with a strong emphasis on collaboration, data quality, and business understanding across regions and entities, including

Qualifications

Strong experience within finance controlling and/or 2-4 years as auditor.
Solid understanding of financial statements, performance management, and cash flow.
Experience from an international, multi-entity organisation is an advantage.
Experience with process optimizations and efficiency gains, e.g. through AI, will be a benefit.

Responsibilities

Group finance controlling and consolidated reporting across the Maersk Training Group.
CFO support / right‑hand role with ad‑hoc analyses and management material.
Collaboration with HQ Finance Business Partnering for forecasting and performance management.
Coordinate with Finance Shared Service Center in Chennai on Master Data and reporting quality.
Drive optimization and efficiency gains across finance processes and upstream business processes.
