Job summary

Maersk Training seeks a strong Finance Controller to join its central finance function in Svendborg, Denmark. You will contribute to group-wide financial controlling, support the CFO, and collaborate with HQ and the Chennai SSC on master data and process improvements.

The role emphasizes accountability, business understanding, and performance transparency across regions, with exposure to executive discussions and board-level material.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within finance controlling and/or 2–4 years as auditor.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, performance management, and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to group finance controlling during month end and annual close.
• Support consolidated reporting, variance analysis, and data quality across regions.
• Act as sparring partner to CFO on analyses, business cases, and management material.
• Collaborate with HQ Finance Business Partnering to support forecasting and strategic initiatives.
• Work with the Chennai SSC on master data improvements and process alignment.
