Job summary

Maersk Training seeks a Finance Controller to join its central finance function in Svendborg, Denmark, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with regional finance managers and the Shared Service Center in Chennai.

The role combines group-wide financial controlling, ad-hoc analysis, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, accountability, and business understanding.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance controlling, or 2–4 years as auditor.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, performance management and cash flow.
• Experience from an international, multi-entity organisation is an advantage.
• Solid insight into ERP, preferably Business Central.
• Experience with process optimizations and AI-driven improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to month-end and annual close processes with group-wide financial controlling.
• Provide CFO support through ad-hoc analyses, business cases, and management materials.
• Collaborate with HQ Finance Business Partnering to support forecasting and performance management.
• Coordinate with the Finance Shared Service Center in Chennai on master data and process improvements.
• Drive process optimization and master data enhancements across regions and HQ.
