Job summary

Maersk Training is seeking a Finance Controller to join its central finance function in Svendborg, Denmark. You will work closely with the CFO and regional Finance Managers across five regions, supporting consolidated reporting and strategic decision-making.

The role combines group-wide financial controlling, ad-hoc analyses, and continuous improvement with a strong emphasis on collaboration, data quality, and business understanding within a multinational framework.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within finance controlling; 2–4 years as auditor.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, performance management and cash flow.
• Experience from an international, multi-entity organisation is an advantage.
• Solid insight into ERP systems and Business Central to ease optimisations.
• Experience with process optimisations and AI-driven improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Group finance controlling and month-end/annual close processes across entities.
• Support CFO with ad-hoc analyses, business cases and management material.
• Collaborate with HQ Finance Business Partnering on forecasting and performance management.
• Coordinate with Chennai SSC on master data, reporting quality and process alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and data quality.
