Job summary

Maersk Training is seeking a Finance Controller to join its central finance function in Svendborg, Denmark. You will be a key player in the Finance team with direct reference to the CFO and collaborate with Regional Finance Managers and the Shared Service Center in Chennai.

The role combines group-wide financial controlling, ad-hoc analysis, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, accountability, and business understanding.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Strong experience in finance controlling and/or auditing.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements, performance management and cash flow.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Group finance controlling and month-end/annual close support with consolidated reporting and variance analysis across regions.
• Act as trusted sparring partner to CFO on ad-hoc analyses, business cases and management material for executive discussions.
• Collaborate with HQ Finance Business Partnering to support performance management and forecasting.
