Job summary

BEUMER Group in Aarhus seeks a Head of Software Customer Support Projects to lead a growing team of 30+ PMs, architects and developers. You will set direction for the portfolio of software projects supporting baggage handling and parcel sorters, serving airports and logistics centers worldwide.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, project execution for up to 50 initiatives, capacity planning, and coordinating with other BEUMER divisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and experience as department or portfolio manager of complex software projects with budget responsibility.
• Knowledge of application management / product lifecycle management.
• thrives in fast-paced international project environments with stakeholder relations.
• Experienced leader of leaders with ability to develop and support employees.
• Knowledge of Scrum, CMMI, ITIL or similar methods; PMI/IPMA/Prince2 certs advantageous.
• Willingness to travel ~40 days per year and negotiate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software department of 30+ PMs, architects and developers; set direction and run the portfolio.
• Coordinate with groups and perform capacity planning for current and future activities.
• Oversee budget and project execution for up to 50 projects; durations from months to 2–3 years.
• Provide guidance to project managers and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Contribute to product management and maintain legacy BEUMER software products.
• Monitor progress, attend customer/partner meetings and enable cross-divisional collaboration.
