Job summary

DSV seeks a Senior Sustainability Business Development leader to identify and convert decarbonisation opportunities across global accounts, crafting account-specific approaches aligned with sustainability goals and business objectives.

You will drive customer discussions, support business cases, and help commercialise decarbonisation services while collaborating with global divisions to adapt offerings and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business administration or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience within sustainability, decarbonisation, energy transition, consulting or related commercial services.
• Proven track record in business development, commercial propositions and customer engagement.
• Experience managing relationships with large enterprise customers, preferably within transport and logistics, supply chain or consultancy.
• Ability to translate sustainability challenges into practical and scalable commercial solutions.
• Strong understanding of corporate sustainability strategies, logistics emissions accounting methodologies and low-carbon solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organisation.
• Customer-centric mindset and motivation to combine consultative selling, solution development and sustainability expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic accounts by identifying, developing and converting decarbonisation opportunities across key global customers.
• Create account-specific decarbonisation approaches aligned with customers' sustainability ambitions and business objectives.
• Lead customer discussions and provide strategic guidance on decarbonisation pathways, services and solutions.
• Support negotiations, business cases and compelling value propositions.
• Contribute to the development, continuous improvement and commercialisation of DSV's global decarbonisation services.
• Help design and refine sustainability products, methodologies, tools and customer solutions.
• Collaborate with global divisions, regional sustainability leads and commercial teams to adapt service offerings, roadmaps and execution strategies.
• Report to the Senior Director, Group Operational Sustainability.
• Drive global commercial growth of DSV's decarbonisation services.
