Job summary

DSV is seeking a Senior Sustainability Manager, Decarbonising Logistics, to lead strategic opportunities and build long-term partnerships that accelerate decarbonisation across a global organisation.

You will work with commercial, operational and sustainability functions to translate customer ambitions into scalable solutions, shaping strategies and providing expert guidance on decarbonisation paths and value propositions.

Qualifications

• Develop the service portfolio: contribute to development, improvement and commercialisation of decarbonisation services.
• Scale solutions globally: help design and refine sustainability products, methodologies, tools and customer solutions.
• Collaborate across borders: work with global divisions, regional leads and commercial teams to adapt offerings, roadmaps, and execution strategies.

Your responsibilities and impact

Reporting to Senior Director, Group Operational Sustainability, you will join Group Operational Sustainability and help drive the global commercial growth of DSV’s decarbonisation services.

You will work across commercial, operational and sustainability functions to translate customer ambitions into relevant and scalable solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing strategic accounts: Partner with account owners to identify, develop and convert decarbonisation opportunities across key global customers.
• Shaping customer strategies: Create account‑specific decarbonisation approaches aligned with customers’ sustainability ambitions and business objectives.
• Advising customers: Lead customer discussions and provide strategic guidance on decarbonisation pathways, services and solutions.
• Building commercial propositions: Support negotiations, business cases and compelling value propositions.
• Developing the service portfolio: Contribute to the development, continuous improvement and commercialisation of DSV’s global decarbonisation services.
• Scaling solutions globally: Help design and refine sustainability products, methodologies, tools and customer solutions.
• Collaborating across borders: Work with global divisions, regional sustainability leads and commercial teams to adapt service offerings, roadmaps and execution strategies.

Your work will contribute directly to stronger strategic customer partnerships, increased adoption of decarbonisation solutions and the successful development of new service offerings.

You combine a strategic sustainability perspective with strong commercial judgement. You are comfortable advising enterprise customers, developing new business opportunities and working across functions and geographical borders.

You know how to turn complex sustainability challenges into practical solutions that create value for customers and can be scaled across an international organisation.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we imagine you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, business administration or a related field
• 7–10 years of relevant experience within sustainability, decarbonisation, energy transition, consulting or related commercial services
• A proven track record in business development, commercial propositions and customer engagement
• Experience managing relationships with large enterprise customers, preferably within transport and logistics, supply chain or consultancy
• The ability to translate sustainability challenges into practical and scalable commercial solutions
• A strong understanding of corporate sustainability strategies, logistics emissions accounting methodologies and low‑carbon solutions
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
• The ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organisation.
