Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Data Privacy Manager to lead privacy initiatives across our global organisation. You will act as a trusted advisor to business units, technology teams, and legal stakeholders, ensuring privacy by design, AI governance, and responsible data practices are embedded in operations.

The role requires GDPR expertise, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with DPIAs, data transfers, and privacy risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent with data privacy expertise.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR and international privacy laws.
• Experience leading privacy programs and DPIAs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience with AI governance and responsible data practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory on data privacy across global operations.
• Lead DPIAs, data transfers, and privacy risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, processes, and governance.
• Partner with Technology and business units to embed privacy controls.
