Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Data Privacy Manager to lead privacy initiatives across our global organisation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business units, technology teams, and legal stakeholders, ensuring privacy, responsible data use, and AI governance are embedded in how we operate.

You will drive DPIAs, data transfer support, and data processing agreements while shaping privacy policies and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong data privacy expertise across global operations.
• Hands-on experience with GDPR and international privacy regulations.
• Knowledge of AI governance, digital risk, and privacy-by-design.
• Ability to lead complex topics from analysis to implementation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise business units on data privacy matters globally, including privacy-by-design and AI governance.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and conduct DPIAs and privacy risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks; lead strategic privacy projects.
• Collaborate with Technology, People Function, legal teams, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into actionable business outcomes.
