We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Privacy Manager to join our Global Data Privacy Team and play a key role in advancing our privacy programme across one of the world's leading logistics and transport companies. This is a senior individual contributor role where your impact comes from deep subject‑matter expertise, strategic influence, and the ability to navigate complex privacy challenges in a global environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, technology teams, and legal stakeholders, helping to ensure that privacy, responsible data use, and AI governance are embedded into the way we operate.
Advise business units on data privacy and data protection matters across global operations. Provide guidance on privacy‑by‑design, AI governance, digital ethics, and emerging technologies. Support international data transfers and negotiate data processing agreements. Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and business‑focused solutions.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable global and local privacy regulations. Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy risk assessments. Support the management of personal data breaches and data subject rights requests.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. Drive initiatives that strengthen demonstrable compliance across the organisation. Lead strategic privacy projects and promote privacy awareness through training and stakeholder engagement. Transform legislative requirements into pragmatic tools, processes, and guidance.
Partner closely with Technology, People Function, local legal teams, and business stakeholders. Support the integration of privacy, responsible data practices, and AI governance into business operations. Monitor regulatory developments and translate evolving requirements into actionable business outcomes.
We are interested in hearing from candidates who bring a strong combination of privacy expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills. You likely have: A law degree or equivalent professional experience in data privacy and data protection. Significant hands‑on experience working with GDPR and other international privacy regulations. Solid understanding of technology, AI governance, digital risk management, and privacy‑by‑design principles. Proven ability to independently lead complex topics from analysis through implementation. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. A pragmatic mindset and the ability to balance regulatory requirements with business objectives.
