Job summary

Maersk is seeking a highly motivated Senior Crew Operator to join our Crewing team and ensure vessels are manned with top-tier maritime professionals. You will manage crew planning, rotations, and engagement to support safe, efficient operations across the global fleet.

The role requires strong experience in Manning, Crewing, and Marine HR, with excellent English communication and stakeholder management. You will collaborate across regions and use MS Office to maintain accurate planning data.

Qualifications

• Experience in crewing or maritime operations is required.
• Familiarity with Manning, Crewing and Marine HR processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels are adequately manned in line with flag requirements and Maersk policies.
• Manage crew rotations and ensure timely, efficient crew changes.
• Champion seafarer engagement and contribute to building stronger connections between ship and shore.
• Be responsible for the cost-efficient execution of crew operations for a fleet of vessels.
• Execute responsibilities and tasks in line with KPIs and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate personnel and planning data across systems.
• Collaborate with Fleet Groups to meet vessel-specific needs.
• Support performance evaluation, promotions, and training recommendations for crew.
• Work with Crewing teams in other locations to ensure optimal manning of Maersk vessels.
