Job summary

Maersk in Denmark is seeking a Senior Crew Operator to lead crew planning and operational readiness across our global fleet, ensuring vessels are manned with qualified maritime professionals. You will coordinate long-term planning for senior officers, manage crew rotations, support performance evaluation, and collaborate with shore teams to optimize cost-efficient crew operations.

The role requires excellent English and strong stakeholder management in a fast-paced, international environment;

Qualifications

• Solid experience in crewing or maritime operations.
• Proven track record in Manning, Crewing, Marine HR, or similar discipline.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to plan and execute in a structured, international setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels are adequately manned in line with flag requirements and Maersk policies.
• Coordinate long-term planning for senior officers.
• Manage crew rotations and ensure timely crew changes.
• Collaborate with Fleet Groups to meet vessel-specific needs.
• Support performance evaluation, promotions, and training recommendations.
• Maintain accurate personnel and planning data across systems.
• Be an ambassador for the crewing team.
