Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S is seeking a Contract Manager to join the Danish Legal & Contracts team within the NCEE and global organization. You will coordinate contract negotiations, manage notices and changes, and support project teams to minimize risk while maximizing commercial outcomes.

Key interfaces include Project Manager, Finance, Procurement, and external counsel. Fluency in Danish and English is required, with a proactive, hands-on approach in a hybrid work environment (40/60) across

Qualifications

• Danish Master of Laws (LL.M.) and/or MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years in complex contract management, commercial or project roles.
• Ability to interpret and negotiate complex contracts and procurement documents.

Responsibilities

• Contractual negotiation and management with customers and sub-contractors.
• Coordinate inputs from Project Manager, Finance, Procurement and others.
• Maintain contract records, notices, changes and claims.
• Provide contract clarification and risk mitigation guidance to project teams.
