Job summary

Alfa Laval in Denmark seeks a Global Business & Application Engineer – Single-Use to bridge between sales teams and customers, supporting validation, process understanding, and scale-up while identifying new business opportunities globally.

You will work with customers, sales companies, and colleagues across the global organization to promote the conversion from conventional filtration to Single-Use high-speed separation technology.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education in biotechnology, chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience in sales or business development in a complex technical environment.
• Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ and GMP contexts relevant to pharmaceutical production environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English plus Danish or Swedish depending on location.
• Knowledge of bioprocessing or downstream processing is a merit.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts tied to production scale-up.
• Drive growth by turning technical and application support into long-term customer adoption through trials and testing.
• Support Alfa Laval sales companies and customers on validation activities and general process troubleshooting related to Single-Use separators.
• Explain the shift from conventional filtration to Single-Use separation technology to customers and local teams.
• Monitor market and process developments in Single-Use separation to strengthen knowledge across the organization.
