Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Global Business & Application Engineer – Single-Use to work with customers and global teams on validation, process understanding, and scale-up for Single-Use separation in pharma. You will bridge between sales and customers, driving adoption of this technology worldwide.

The role combines technical depth with commercial impact, requiring travel and collaboration across regions to support the transition from traditional filtration to Single-Use systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education in biotech, chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering or similar.
• Experience in sales or business development in a complex technical sales environment.
• Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ validation and GMP contexts relevant to pharmaceutical production environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English in addition to Danish or Swedish, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts tied to production scale-up and expansion.
• Drive growth by turning technical and application support into long-term customer adoption of Single-Use separation technology via hands-on work for trials and testing.
• Support Alfa Laval sales companies and customers directly on validation activities and general process troubleshooting related to Single-Use separators.
• Support the technology conversion narrative—help customers and local teams understand the shift from conventional filtration to Single-Use separation technology.
• Follow market and process developments in Single Use separation to strengthen internal and external knowledge.
