Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH seeks a Health, Safety & Product Compliance Engineer to strengthen processes and ensure compliant, safe products across markets. You will collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Engineering and external bodies to translate regulations into robust practices.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, certification management, and driving continuous improvement in a hybrid work setting at the Søborg Copenhagen office with travel ~25–35 days/year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field with Health & Safety specialization.
• Experience with Health & Safety, Product Compliance in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of global product compliance and machinery safety regulations (CE, ATEX, RoHS, REACH).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of Health & Safety processes across the BU.
• Drive product compliance activities meeting regulatory and market requirements throughout lifecycle.
• Develop and implement strategies for new product development and market entry.
• Coordinate certifications, declarations, and technical docs (CE, ATEX, IECEx) with R&D/Engineering.
• Conduct risk assessments and internal audits with mitigation plans.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely organizational compliance.
• Train staff on Health & Safety and product compliance requirements.
