Job summary

Eurowind Energy A/S is recruiting a Global Technology Specialist, BESS to lead technical operations across all sites worldwide. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient BESS operations while supporting strategic initiatives as a key technical resource.

The role requires a Bachelor in engineering, extensive BESS experience, and strong project and vendor management. English fluency is essential; Danish is a plus. Join a dynamic global team in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level education in engineering or related field.
• Extensive knowledge and proven track record within the BESS industry.
• Hands-on experience with technical operation of different BESS technologies and systems.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Project management and vendor management experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Fluency in Danish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Eurowind Energy regarding BESS systems and technologies.
• Plan and prioritize technical tasks both on-site and remotely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and maintain a strong network of external vendors, electricians, fire brigades, and other critical partners.
• Lead Asset Management's Lessons Learned initiatives and technical requirements for EPC projects.
• Overall responsibility for safety and risk assessments within BESS operations.
• Daily monitoring and alarm handling across all BESS sites.
• Data analysis for diagnostics and performance optimization.
• Planned and corrective maintenance execution.
• Troubleshooting on-site and remotely.
• Managing Service Level Agreements with external partners.
• Handling and optimizing spare parts management.
• Developing and maintaining contingency plans for each site in collaboration with QHSE.
• Opportunity to participate in 24/7 duty roster team.
• Technical support to Development and EPC regarding new projects, including FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Participation in BESS competence center initiatives.
• Staying updated through participation in relevant BESS industry forums.
