Job summary

VELUX Group in Skjern seeks a Project Manager for Automation Projects to lead complex manufacturing technology initiatives. The role is a fixed-term project position for two years, reporting to the Senior Manager at the Technology Center Denmark, with 30-50 travel days per year across Europe.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver customised production equipment and support new product development for manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or other technical discipline.
• Experience in project management within a technical/industrial environment.
• Fluent English and Danish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, facilitate and coordinate project activities from planning to handover.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, programming, procurement and manufacturing.
• Define machine sequences and electrical/mechanical solutions with designers.
• Coordinate with procurement to source components and suppliers.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness and successful transfer to customers.
