Job summary

VELUX Group seeks a Technical Manager for its Skjern site to drive strategic direction and operational excellence in a highly automated production environment. You will lead a cross-disciplinary Technical Services team, delivering reliability, digitalisation, and major technical projects while collaborating with international stakeholders.

You will shape the site’s lean culture, influence technology strategies and production improvements, and ensure safe, efficient operations across the factory.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience leading technical, engineering, maintenance or project teams.
• Strong understanding of Lean, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Fluency in English and Danish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Technical Services organisation through values-based leadership and a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, safety and technical excellence.
• Ensure high levels of equipment availability, reliability and performance across production operations.
• Develop and strengthen team capabilities within engineering, maintenance, project management and digitalisation.
• Drive equipment stability, process optimisation and digital transformation initiatives while meeting KPIs and standards.
• Identify, evaluate and implement innovative technologies and working methods to boost productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Support installation, integration and optimisation of new machinery and production technologies.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and share best practices.
