Triband, the award-winning studio based in central Copenhagen, is seeking a Hands-on Game Director for WHAT THE CAR?. You’ll guide a small but mighty team, shape the ongoing vision, and ensure the game stays true to the WHAT THE? universe while growing its audience.

We value ownership, collaboration and a playful, inclusive culture. The role is office-first hybrid in Copenhagen with relocation support for international candidates; English is the working language.

Qualifications

• 8+ years working in creative product lead roles.
• At least 3 commercial and shipped game projects.
• Familiar with one or more commercial game engines, including Unity.
• Strong communication and collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

• Take product responsibility for WHAT THE CAR? and evolve the WHAT THE? universe.
• Define the game’s ongoing vision, strategy and goals.
• Effectively communicate the vision within the team to enable autonomy.
• Create achievable product roadmaps built on a humanistic approach to production.
• Contribute directly to project development, such as prototypes, implementing gameplay or building levels in-engine.
• Facilitate team-wide creative processes to ensure ideas are heard and best solutions chosen.
• Maintain a high quality bar across the game and catch issues before ship.
• Nurture a creative, inclusive, high-performing, high-trust team culture.
• Immerse yourself in user feedback to steer the game’s future direction.
