Job summary

Triband is seeking a hands-on Game Director for WHAT THE CAR? in Copenhagen. You will guide the creative wheel, shape the product vision with leadership, and ensure high-quality output while fostering a collaborative team culture.

You will work closely with producers to map roadmaps, prototype gameplay, and turn community feedback into strategic direction. The role blends hands-on development with studio leadership, in an office-first hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in creative product lead roles.
• 3+ commercial and shipped game projects.
• Familiar with Unity or other engines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understand and love the WHAT THE? universe; contribute to its future.
• Use AI to boost workflows and productivity.
• Prototype-driven approach to ideas over long discussions.
• Experience on family-friendly titles for a casual audience.

Responsibilities

• Take product responsibility for WHAT THE CAR? and evolve the WHAT THE? universe.
• Define the game’s ongoing vision, strategy and goals with studio leadership.
• Communicate the vision within the team to empower autonomy.
• Create achievable product roadmaps with a human-centered production approach.
• Contribute to prototyping, gameplay implementation, or in-engine level building.
• Foster a creative, inclusive, high-trust team culture.
• Turn user feedback into decisions about the game's next steps.
